- Clear, repeatable internal processes originate at the store-level. It’s crucial for the development of a compliance mindset that you establish internal processes that put staff on a single track to success. The more you’re able to create watertight SOPs and expectations for staff, the fewer downstream mistakes are made that cost you time and money. Educating your staff also encourages them to take more ownership over their actions because they understand the implications of their actions. Plus, if they want to stay in the cannabis industry long-term, remind them that compliance knowledge is a transferable skill and will help them grow their careers.
